FSV "Sandgroper"

Skala:

XXXX was 1 of 8 Australian Army FSV Saladin to enter the Vietnam war. Unfortunately I've change from XXXX to Sandgroper due to lack of information available on this vehicle. FYI XXXX is the recognised local Beer for the state of Queensland with XXXX Gold being the #1 , Sandgroper is a colloquial name given to West Australians and is derived from a subterranean insect which lives in sandy-sandy loamy soils with Western Australia being mostly these soils.

I haven't built any models for years so see how it goes,i have the M113A1 FSV Saladin upgrade kit as well as the belly and sponson armour kit coming from Mouse House.A few small scratch built parts might be built to stay true to the in country configuration of Vietnam era FSV's

I have yet to source those upgrade parts, I may have to make everything out of scrap plastic

I'm in Vietnam at present and as of today have taken a heap of photos from the "War Remenants Muesum". Would you like me to PM you some photos of the Flame Thrower version of the M113, when I get back to Melbourne?
Cheers from HCM City Russell
