My first model build in nearly 50 years!
I bought this one on Ebay, Cheap! Well I found out why it was cheap when I opened the box. It had obviously been around the block a few times. All the parts were loose in the box, and quite few were broken.
But since I was just getting started I figured it was good enough to start practicing on. It turned out so so, I didn't buy the masks so the canopy isn't finished. I used artist acrylic (the cheap tube stuff @ HL), and used an old Paasche H airbrush. Considering I really didn't know what I was doing, the paint came out surprisingly well!
At that time I didn't have any hooks in the ceiling yet so it sat on my TV stand. The folding wings broke off rather quickly, the prop got broken etc! etc!
Needless to say it's now in the scrap box in the garage. But that's ok I have a nicer Trumpeter kit that I'll build when I'm more confident with my modeling & painting skills.
Probably a decent little kit if you got a fresh one.
