Here it is.
On a last model my brother and I had trouble with a black paint (my Monte Carlo WIP on hold). After a couple weeks the paint started cracking...so what to do?
I grabbed two body's out of the 'trash of incomplete model" and painted both black as usual. Both with different base coat and different clear coat to figure out, where the drama of cracking came from.

This is one of the test objects and the black came out so good, that I competed it - with some changes I always wanted to make with it. All Clearparts are missing, so a kind of hardcore roadster was in mind.
Stripes are painted and sanded before clear coat. I used seats from scale production, wheel came from Clearly Scale. Awesome wheels btw. The front wheels I made about 4mm narrower. No chrome - all Black.
The windshield is out of the partsbox and cutted on the upper side.
It came out bad***, as I wanted. Not really perfect, just for fun

It *is* bad@$$! The idea and transfer to the model is awesome. It's a long time ago I saw such a cool model kit. Awesome!

The result is worth the effort, very sharp & an interesting take on an already interesting car!
