This thing has almost as many stencils as an F-4, have spent 2 days doing them and still have the belly, bottom of the wings, tanks and pylons to go yet. Yikes.

I've had me eye on the single seater Hobby Boss kit in 1/48 for a while now... How was the basic kit?

Thank you James. The kit is not bad, fit is pretty good, you would want to get an aftermarket decal sheet as the kit ones stink. I have the Revell "C" tigermeet kit and I think it is a better kit than the Hobby Boss one, though neither have any intake detail. But I think there are resin full length intakes for both kits. I finished the wash today, now it is on to weathering with oils and final assembaly.

Awesome work Cliffort, I also like the colorful vertical stabilizer that adds more contrast to the otherwise grey bird. Is it finished already or are you putting any armament on it? In any case, it looks very good already! 👍
