The probably worst attachment points ever, held up by friction and lots of cement. Very well played Miniart, very well played,..

The fit is something of its own,... dryfit every part at least twice.
Really shitty job by Miniart.

Calling this one done/ giving up.
Left out a couple of parts since the interior started coming apart and not even superglue holds up certain PE parts...

And none of hatches fit into placement... (outstanding engineering marvel)

Don't follow the instructions: parts of interior, built up of running gear, especially time of mounting certain parts,....

Extremely fragile kit. Recommend it only for experienced users who enjoy suffering trough this. Rather not enjoyed this built.

Yeah parts of the mold which needed to be cut away (for version 1b...) remain visible.

You merely adopted the shadowing, I was born in it, molded by it ?

Good looking interior!

@Rui, yeah awesome details.

Some parts where not thought trough or should have been one single mold instead of 3 parts,...

Be very careful while glueing!

Thx. I will follow with attention 😎
I'm always careful glueing 😉 But I've still to buy Tamiya Extra Thin Cement Quick-Setting (Tamiya 87182, No)
To see if it's better than the English BEATTIES i had. The best ever.

P.S. I agree with Simon.

Used both Mr. Cement S/ Tamiya Cement. Miniart and Takom plastic somehow reacts extremely to Mr. Cement.

Corrent Im using Revell Contacta Professional Mini Poly Cement, but when I've to pass glue over finish surfaces, I pull the brush with last drops of Beatties. (consistence just like water and very fast evaporation and fix), but strong. If you put another layer, it starts melting the plastic.
The very best I've used so far, but no more in production, unfortunately.

I Don't believe you are giving up. It's looking great 👍. Come on mate, wrap this One up.

From what I see in the pics, I agree with Rui S.

I gave up on adding more details or PE parts for the hatches...

It will be painted and all. Just no more Miniart parts will meet glue or better said: attempt to be glued 😉

I've built a Miniart Dingo and it was great and really detailed. The PE was fiddly and I left off some truly tiny stuff but the results were great. I did however glue the suspension parts upside down so mine rides a little lower than normal. I didn't notice it until I started painting. 😉

The detail is amazing, engineering on some parts not so much.
I cheated on some parts as well as they simple did not hold in place (PE hatches & bolts)

Mine is not leveling either but due to sh... built up of suspension. Might hide this in a small vignette.

Pushing mine into the small base's groundwork hid the uneven tire problem. 😉 Plus a desert base isn't too hard to build luckily.

This little round base will do the Dingo justice.

Having just studied the instructions: for all the complexity of the drivetrain, is it possible to position the wheels at an angle? I guess not, at least not without surgery.

The suspension is now held up by cement, superglue and sheer anger.

Its supposed to be a moveable, but the parts have no real secure attachment points or at least nubs: crucial parts need to be glued just laid out on a flat surface!?!

Further down the path: the springs and their mounting are supposed to be locked into those „moveable" part but they do not fit in.

So.... I just cut off a bit of the springs and their nubs to get it to correctly fit in place.

In general lots of nice details but very, very wonky & way too fragile kit as it started coming apart in further stages.
So before delaying it, simply finished it as simplified as I could.

despite your hassle you achieved a very, very nice kit. But IMHO it cries out to be accompanied by a figure.
