Scratch-built the pitot and added some decals out of the spares-box
Sadly the decals have yellowed over the 40 years since they were put down
when time permits, I will put some better sized USAF stars and bars....I can't find any aftermarket alternatives as Caracal and Vingtor are showing as out of stock
Will finish this fully loaded with Paveways, ‘winders and tanks
Hand painted using Humbrol enamels, “back in the day”

Next time, you can put the yellowed decals on window for several days or weeks, depending on whether there is a lot of direct sun or a bit.

Unfortunately I didn't know that "top tip" in 1983! And living in the UK they would be on a window sill for years 😉
so I intend to leave them, in all their yellowed glory, as a "homage" to my prehistoric skills!
