Thank you Christian. I won't be able to finish it until the First part of April, as we start moving into our new house next Friday. So I must pack up and dismantle my workshop, then set it up again once moved.

Nice one Clifford 🙂 Reminds me that I need to pick up that kit to build the ship my uncle served on.

nice sub. I prefer the lower hull being paint red than black. How long is the model?

I think I would twist the periscopes into shape so that they straighten. If you used super glue, in some minor amount, you could probably have yanked them off and re-glued them.
Submarine models are such fun. Looking so nice on display, and is mostly paint work. 🙂

Thank you Thanasis, I think if I remember correctly it is about 7.5 inches long. @ Treehugger, thanks for the tip. I could not seem to keep them straight. Every time I turned around I was banging the which bent them, I even think I dropped it a couple of times. Lesson learned leave them until last.

I like to glue on an antenna, sort of, one at a time, but making sure I keep an eye out for any leaning, so I often find myself just bending the antennas the other way to counter adjust while the glue hasn't fully set, and then the antenna tend to balance out and usually straight up after that. 🙂

I cannot say how many times I did just that. I guess my MK.I eyeball is uncaged. LOL. I will strive to do better next time. Once I get moved I will correct the leaning mast on this one. LOL.
