the Paather comes along nicely... but... well, making a good dio is harder as it seems...
some easy tips: try to avoide paralell lines, nothing in the nature is exactly square
cerate an interresting terrain, ditches, elevation, different vegetaition, eg...
small things make Dios more interresting, so use everyting you can find to create acessories, like plaster, (balsa-) wood, sticks, plastic, rubbish...everyting 😉

and most of all, spend some time here, have a look how other mates are doing their stuff and have fun 😉

No problem, saw a lot "first dios" which were way worse 🙂
The boxart is quite nice, did you try framework on the building?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timber_framing
It was a quite popular way to build houses in north-western Europe (was widely used especially in rural-regions till 1900/1920)... styles differd from regions, some simpler patterns can be seen in e.g. in France, GB and northern Germany. But in Franconia (where I come from 😉 , middle Germany/northern Bavaria) there are lots of those color- and beautiful "Fachwerkhäusern": [img1]

Hi Hunter - the first pics are looking good, but give us a little bit more pictures. For the background it can be helpful to have a look on the kits from MINIART. They have some french houses in their range of kits.
