A big but rewarding build - 5 months to completion, but the good weather was a distraction!
Intricate running gear, engine components and cab interiors - a lot of which is hidden on completion.
Rocket tube assembly complicated by 'endless' seam lines on 36no tubes, made especially difficult with fine spiral detail on tubes.
My first full trad camo scheme - can recommend AK Camo Elastic Putty used for the masking - amazing 'alien' material!
Given the works for final weathering - filters, shading modulation, panel lining, washes, streaking, dry brushing, mud splatters, pigments - sealed at various stages with semi-clear gloss and then a final light matt clear coat - always amazed at the transformation from base painted model to a more realistic looking vehicle - see comparison photo 21.
