Mathias DecommereGreat work! If I may give you one piece of feedback: the German soldier running is in my opinion in an unbelievable position. The location makes you believe he must have left the trench, but the Red Army is already beyond that point, so he must have been killed or captured by then. I would let this soldier out or replace him with a killed one on the higher ground. But again: great work in every other aspect!

Somewhere in Lake Balaton, late March 1945.
This was a learning project, old Stug from Tamiya, soviet infantry from and old Zvezda/Italeri box the Germans where from the scrap box (finally using those pieces).
It’s a long way to learn how to build dioramas but I am satisfied with the result.
Painted with Lifecolor’s and Vallejo’s acrylics mainly, the mud is from AK (although I painted anyway with Lifecolor mud effects. The wooden base was hand made by me using Raulí, the trench wood are made of balsa wood for the walls and the floor is from walnut (also scratched by me).
