Nicely built, but I'm confused by the scene. At first sight, the tank seems to be in the process of driving over the truck in the middle of combat, given the German troops running and firing their weapons. But then why is the radio operator so relaxed in his hatch? That gives the impression that the tank is standing still there? The chap standing behind the tank with the helmet in his hand gives the same idea.

But there's also a Russian soldier taking care of his wounded buddy right in front of the tank. That gives the impression of combat again, but at the same time I'd say it's rather unlikely for the unwounded chap to just be sitting there looking sad when there's a tank about to come down on his head …

Hi Jakko, thanks for comment. The idea was that the Pz had gone through the wall crushing the Gaz truck. Now the infantry are catching up to mop up what is left. The Russian is cradling his dead buddy after being in the track that had been hit, so he had no want to carry on fighting.

I think I see what you were trying to do, but IMHO you're telling two stories in one there. The damage to the truck doesn't look like it was inflicted by the tank, more like it was already there and the tank just stopped, overhanging it. The living Russian would have to be REALLY saddened by his buddy to remain there, though — he's basically seconds away from being shot dead himself, and there's no way he wouldn't know that.

If you were to remove the tank and the German soldiers, it would work very well as the Russian soldiers' story, while if you were to remove the "relaxed" Germans and the grieving Russian, leaving only the dead ones, you have a combat scene.

But both together … I'm not sure, sorry …

Well Jakko, that's the beauty of modelling, we can all see different things. I'm fairly new to this hobby and am building what I like and what i want to see, IMHO I have to disagree with you because to me it looks fine and i'm happy with it, and personally, that's the main thing as far as i'm concerned. That's really the only thing that counts, IMHO: it's your model, so if you're happy with it, then all is well 🙂 I was just trying to give some ideas on improving it, which you're of course free to take on board or ignore.
