Matchbox T-34/76

As a refresher from more involved builds, I thought it would be fun to see what a very old kit might look like finished with modern techniques. So I dug out a 1976 Matchbox T-34 from the attic. It builds fast and easily. some of the details are a bit off, especially the roadwheels which look nothing like anything I have ever seen on any T34. Plus rubber band tracks. And the gun mantlet has a strange construction which needed some care and filler. And a huge heavy machine gun on the turret which went to the spares box.
I did make a few changes to improve the kit:
Drilled out the gun barrel
Added turret apertures for sights and co-ax MG
Replaced the malnourished exhausts
Banged up the front fenders a little
Replaced the bow MG with metal tube
Added handles to the fuel drums
Added a cast texture to the turret and bow MG housing
Installed metal rods to induce track sag
Added some bolt details to the mantlet
Added turned pistol port covers to the turret
So more or less OOB!!!
Now ready for some primer.
