Masking for the two-tone paint job is quite tricky (curved areas following the decals). Had some difficulties with the fiddling wheelie bar which has to be fixed to the axle/driveshaft and finally gives the correct, straight stance to the model. Front and rear bumper should be glued to the body before painting. The windows needed a lot of cleaning/sanding before sitting flush after they were glued with clear acrylic paint. The chrome plating on the (rear) wheels was very bad (yellow - from the Iaconio kit?) - shining through. Therefor, I airbrushed Vallejo chrome on the rims: much better! The white letters on the slicks are brushed with diluted white acrylic paint. The roll cage should be assembled and glued with Tamiya liquid cement before painting. Put the chassis/interior/engine unit to the body is quite tough. Begin with the rear (some credit cards) may help to spread the body. The engine/radiator in this process need a lot of TBC to not break anything! The nearly 40 years old decals worked better than ones from a very recent kit (no decal solutions needed), but I cleared the work to seal and protect them.
