USS Saratoga CV-3

Here is the USS Saratoga. It is a prewar type, yellow and silver aircraft and a maroon deck. I am waiting on some paint for the hull though, will be using Humbrol 127, best I could find, it is so expensive to order paint from here. got another coat done on the deck and most of the superstructure is finished, so far I have only lost two parts, one wont be noticeable, but one is on top of the bridge, can be seen int he picture of it.

The deck is about finished, but I think it needs more red to it, maybe ill try a wash to change the color a bit. Started on the aircraft as well, got 9 out of 24 built but they are gonna take awhile to get em painted. The stack is finished, the rest of the superstructure is built and I got the deck gray on it. I think it is turning out pretty good for my first aircraft carrier, got 2 more to build, the Yorktown (CV 10) ans Akagi as well, and think I want to get the Enterprise CV 6 as well. The rigging isn't going to be easy either, and the only rigging examples I found of it is from other models, it doesn't even come with the little masts though fore and aft so Ill have to make those too.
