Built OOB in December 2023 Harnesses scratch built. It is my model that won first place in the military aircraft category in the British in Africa competition we organized on our association's page. Although this is a quite old kit from Tamiya, I completed it as if I were building Lego because everything was perfect and simple. Since I'm incapable of painting human faces, I don't usually use the pilots that come with the kits. Therefore, belts were needed and I made them from 1mm Tamiya mask tape. For the underbody I had to use Mr.Color Azure Blue. If I tried a little, I could mix the colors myself using acrylic paints, but since I use this color tone very rarely, I did not embark on such an adventure. The only thing to criticize about the kit was the decals, as is almost always the case with Tamiya. The main problem is that they are not flexible enough to adapt to wing bulges, in addition to being very fragmented during installation. I was able to cover these by touching up with a slightly similar color paint. Even if it doesn't appear in the photos, it is certain that it will come under the wrath of the jury in the real competition in May 2024.
