Started another double build - Ken Burnstine's Foxy Ladies in the '74 and '75 paint scheme.
This one is Miss Foxy Lady in the 1975 appearance.

Added some new pic today.
@Matthew: the conversion parts are ok. Dimensions a accurate. Surface quality is not the best with respect to roughness and burrs. Sanding is needed. The parts are of polyurethan resin and they are good to cut and sand. They are not so rigid as I have already experienced on other resin parts I was working with.

New pictures - I have scrached the extended wing root fillets, removed the guns, clipped the wings and gab-filled most of the panel lines and ports that were covered for aerodynamic reasons.

Nice and clean!👍 Well done! The tiny canopy makes the plane appear comically bigger than it is 😄

Hi all - thx for your likes and nice comments.
I build the two Mustangs because I found a picture on the web and found the plane looking great. I was concentrating on picture reseach all the weeks before and was not paying attention to the owner & pilot. I did this when the model was almost finished and 2 day's before the show and...OMG - what a story behind this person. Anyone awear of Kenneth Burnstine?

Ok - here is the story I found: Ken in a nutshell.
Graduated at Northwestern University. Joint US Marines 1954. Served in Korea until 1955. Then sent to Marine Aircraft Group 11 in Atsugi, Japan. There he was given counterintelligence credentials.
Started pilot training at Navy flight school Pensacola, Florida. Ultimately discharged from Navy reserves and finished at a private flight school in Alabama.
He set up his own Airline in Fort Lauderdale, His Florida Air International, was involved in drugs and arms smuggling. He gained quite some money and beside other investments he financed the construction of the "landmark" KenAnn Building in Wilton Manors in the 60's. Early 1974 a lion escaped his property in Fort Lauderdale and attacked a child.
Later that year Burnstine won the Reno Air Race in an modified P-51 Mustang (the black Miss Foxy Lady).
A few month later he was arrested and charged for drug smuggling. At the time of his death in 1976 he was cooperating with federal prosecutors. He mysteriously crashed the Mustang with which he had won the 1974 Reno Air Race in the Mojave Desert. Was it his own fault? Did someone manipulate the craft? Even more mysterious the fact that there where barely mortal remains found beside a hand (with a thumbprint)....no bones, no skull, etc.....he disappeared. Rumors have it that this was stage-managed to eighter flee the police and/or the drug mafia.....and...people reported of a rarley and odd encounter: down in the everglades a one-armed pilot was running a small private business in the late 70's.
