Aoshima YAMAHA SR400
Wheel jig i made central pin to hold the hub central & outer to hold the rim steady and central also i stuck it down with blue tack to hold its position
Stripped chrome from wheels
First hole drilled lining up the nipple tube with spoke root
Hub cut out of rim, after drilling all the holes for the nipples
After painting & drilling hub holes, i hooked the first spoke after feeding through the nipple inner spokes need to be first to set in place
All inner spokes one side fitted
Spoked wheel before trimming and touch up
Tyre and break hub, hides most of those scares
Dipped chrome parts
Engine in frame
Other parts stripped of chrome ready for cleaning painting and assembly
Fenders and tank painted
Re spoked wheels
Nice wee build look nice too
Decals just disintegrated so i improvised with some left overs
Front end now where for the trottle cables to go so just tucked under the tank, likewise oil feed return tucked under seat no placement for it either
Never bothered with the indicators they were quite agricultural
