Decals are on, one of the stripes end up a little out of alignment, but I didn't catch until after it had set. Should be wrapping it up shortly.

Little bit of a gap around the tower here... not sure extra thin will fill it in.

Tamiya basic putty on the forward portion of the tower.
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/1/7/5/1162175-66549-13-720.jpg)
Used some plastic putty to fill the gap around the base of the tower.

Getting somewhere with assembly... I see much sanding and a bit of putty in my near future.
![Album image #11 Album image #11](/albums/img/7/1/9/1163719-66549-45-720.jpg)
Almost done with assembly. Still have to do the net cutter, and the rods for the control surfaces. After that its priming painting and decals.

Watching! Some time ago I finished the other incarnation of this kit:
Big one and small one | Album by podkon (1:72)
and I liked it very much 😉
If I may suggest you something - for such gaps like around the tower I use washable acrylic putty:
Washable Acrylic Putty (Wamod OD23, No)

Got the net cutter, and the control surface rods into place. Everything should be ready for a quick tidy up. Then tomorrow priming and paint. If I can get it done early, I might have decals on it by the end of the day.

Primed and painted. Now its time to clear coat, decal, and clear coat again.

And I just dropped on the concrete while I was carrying out to the garage.
Oh well, win some lose some. I am still counting it as completed. Gonna put aside, might able to use the mangled remains for a diorama or something later.
