Bearings in cockpit just temporary for holding nose down for photo. Many things got by me on this kit....BTW I am not a fan of Revell and their use of pictures to specify actions during construction. Just SPIT IT OUT in script so we see words and explanations. Same issues with the last three Revell builds. I'm a reader not a hieroglyphics expert. If the Japanese can translate into English...then Germany can make the attempt too.

may I say I half agree with your comment on the lack of explaining text in Revell kits. They used to have that waaaaay back in the 1970's. The whole construction sequence, assemblies and sub-assemblies were written out in English and German. I could never make sense of the German text because of the many typical technical words used, and the English version, well, that's how I learned my first English! Apparently they didn't get too much applause for these though because with the next change of house style, out went the written pamflets. I wholly agree that their drawings could be al lot clearer though!
