Hi Paulo, yes, my own main source was the series "Complete Civil Registers: Cyprus", that appeared in Air Britains's "Archive" magazine - and, yes, you are right about this DC-8's previous and next identities/registrations. Cyprus Airways was leasing it from McDonnell-Douglas, hence the US registration. In the late 1970s, following the 1974 events and the destruction of a number of their Tridents, Cyprus Airways leased a number of different aircraft (DC-8, DC-9, CL-44, Britannia) - I always found interesting the stories of these leased-as-a-temporary-measure aircraft and was pleasantly surprised by the existence of the relevant decal sheet by 26 decals - and, of course, you presenting this nice and interesting model!
