Hi Scott! When looking at this Picture I can say you that this is no BMW. This bike is a indeed very nice replica based on a russian Djeper, Ural or anything else. Wether the front fork or the Fenders look like BMW. The are russian. But anyway this can be a great Project for a proper Modell.

Being a bit of a BMW nut...this amazes me...strikes me as a rare vehicle. I've checked a few books on WWII German bikes and found no pics like this whatsoever...

And a quick google search on "BMW R75 Sanität" yielded this:

04 / Special Solutions

yes it's about R12...but the sidecars are the same

Still I agree, it's a great vehicle to scratchbuild!

And btw that front end definitely is Russian (Ural/Dnjepr)...without a look at the engine it's hard to say what the rest of the bike is

OK so it is not a BMW but does anyone have any other pictures? I have a Sd.Kfz.3 Maultier Ambulance - Smart Kit on the way from Dragon and this would go great.

Album info

Hey anyone out there know of any other pictures of this type of moto? I am thinking about scratch building one and I would like more pictures. This is the only one I have been able to locate. It was on Flickr. Thanks Scott
