Hi Colin, I as well have the VIP version. I received this kit when I was still a student and "Hasegawa" was out of my budget. I had a very big smile on my face when I received it 🙂

Hi Tim, I can imagine the look of glee on your face when you received the Sea King kit. I think Hasegawa missed a golden opportunity to release the kit in more than one version ie, the first types and then different service markings. when you consider the number of times they have re-released other kits in their range with only a change of decals. Then those with resin parts for alternate version.Well My Hasegawa you missed out instead of me purchasing one kit I could have taken half a dozen. Your loss!

Hi Tim, It's a pity Hasegawa didn't add any interior detail either. The kit has also been almost ignored by the after market sector, strange! That is until recently with the 'new' Royal Navy version of the kit

yes indeed, Flightpath was there but I prefer resin over PE parts...hope to see some more built Sea Kings with the new releases
