For a long time I have had a strong interest in the Interwar Royal Air Force, the so-called Silverwing era, and have collected the models, often Vacu-Kits, for it for years. One of them, the 1:48 Aeroclub Vacukit of the Gloster Gauntlet Mk.II I have now started. The cockpit is scratch build except for a few small parts from the Roden Gladiator and a pilot's seat from Aires. The instrument panel is a modified part from Yahu.

The cockpit chapter is closed. Now the Vacu fuselage can be glued together.

Things are moving slowly. The tail unit with separate rudders is finished. The fuselage has been given better surface details (extra engravings, rivets, the typical British quick release fasteners etc.). At the moment I am busy with the implementation of a stable wing connection.

The Vacumodel of the Gloster Gauntlet Mk.II by Aeroclub is finally finished. It was painted with the Xtrem Metal Colours from AK interactiv. The model is marked as the presumed commanding aircraft of No.74 (Tiger) Sqn. RAF from 1938.

Top result! I would have never dared to start a vacu of a biplane, wish I had your skills
