Looking for mines

A team of German Sturmpioniers are searching for mines and apparently found one. Now they are getting ready to remove it.

Significant flash and not best of fits. Below average compared to other Dragon kits from that period. Mine detector shaft is very flimsy so I manage to break it in two places before even beginning the assembly despite being very careful. Also severe lack of ammo pouches, three figures come equipped with rifles but only one set of pouches. Luckily I had some in my spares box but otherwise serious oversight.

Tried different method for painting skin, previous one created too much of a contrast between various shades. End result is…. something that needs further improvement……

Overall a pretty simple and straightforward build. Nothing fancy and using tried and tested methods for groundwork.
