Inspired by stories of clashes between Me 262 and Mustangs over Germany near the end of WW2, I want to put together one such duel of arguably the pinnacle of propeller-driven single-engine aircraft and the dawn of the jet age.
On the 24th March 1943, Cpt. Roscoe Brown became one of three members of the 332nd Fighter Group on that day to be credited with shooting down a Messerschmitt Me 262 jet fighter of the Jagdgeschwader 7 "Nowotny" during a mission to escort bombers to Berlin.
Currently going through more references regarding the P-51, the Tuskegee Airmen and the Me 262 while building the Mustang and preparing the Me 262.
