The Pilot Oblt. Franz Von Werra crashed about 10 miles away from where I live. A movie (same as topic title) was a real hit and is really well made. From what I’ve read von Werra was a hard headed man that sometimes exaggerated his exploits but no one can say he was not the main protagonist of a wonderful, almost mythical story.

It really is a wonderful kit and the decals are the peel away type. I made a few dozen mistakes but as my 2nd aircraft kit I’m glad to gain more experience. That was my main aim.
