This is the Aichi D3A1 Type 99 Kanbaku 'Val' EI-207, off the Shokaku during the first wave attack on Hickam Field and Hangar Row on December 7th 1941, flown by PO2c Kouji Takahashi and his observer/gunner PO2c Masaru Matsui. PO2c Takahashi flew in the 1st Chutai, 23rd Shotai led by Lt Masao Yamaguchi.
