From the 1984 IJsboerke Dakarteam I build 2 cars, the Unimog servicetruck, Revell kit and one of the four Mercedes G, Italeri kit., Unfortunately the whole team did not finish the rally, only one mercedes drove the whole rally, but it was out of the competition.
Both kits are old, and that discover you in the build. The Unimog fits not very well and has a lot of, a very lot of flash. The rollbar was a disaster to build, and the fabric hood is scratchbuild changed to al aluminium box. The body of the Mercedes is shortend.
The kits are not recommendable but the result is satisfying.
