Completed Italeri no. 068 Bell/Boeing V-22 Osprey depicting MV-22 frame number 168011 of VMM-163 'Ridge Runners', MAG16/3rd MAW of USMC based at Miramar, California.
Despite of italeri kit being based on the Osprey prototype, there are differences between production aircrafts and the prototype, i have made my best efforts to make that kit looking more up to date. As I'm not a so called 'rivet counter', I'm very satisfied with the outcome. Kit was finished using AmmoMig colours and it was my first time using an airbrush. Weathering was done using chalk pastels. Decals used are from Xtradecals by Hannants (lovely thin film), clear coat was done using pledge klear, matt finish was from the tamiya rattle can.
