Just love the 432, hope to start 2 more over the Christmas holidays. I've a Mk1 with floatation device & an Ambulance upgrades to be fitted to the Takom kits. The Takom kit is getting very hard to get hold of

Yes I had to buy mine from a model shop in the USA by mail order and get the Mk1 conversion kit and peaked GPMG turret kit from Accurate Armour. There are many variants of the 432 to build. The latest being the Bulldog deployed in Iraq. The British Army refitted a load of Mk2 432s for the campaign with new Cummins power packs, new running gear, refurbished the inside, fitted a new style of Armour protection and called it the FV432 Mk3 Bulldog. Some of those hulls were coming up to 50 years old! Tackom do this variant as well but it is probably difficult to get hold of. Post your Mk1 and Ambulance version when you start them.

Love your 432, were the real photos taken in Canada? Ive several photos of my Dad in Canada and vehicles have the same camo scheme. I got the FV432 Bulldog and the new Meng Warrior for Christmas off my daughters. Can't wait to get stuck in to them also.

Yes most of the real photos were taken in Canada on the British Army training area Suffield. The close up internal and front photo of a MK2 432 were taken in West Germany (Green and Black Camo paintwork was used there). Your Dad may have used these same vehicles if he did an Armoured Exercise in Canada. Look forward to seeing your Bulldog and Warrior.

Yes, my dad was in support company using mortars he was attached to the 7th Armour. He used standard, mortar and Rarden turret 432's. I remember place names like Medicine Hat & Calgary from when we were in the Army. We lived in Celle & Hemer in Germany and Catterick and Warminster in the UK.
