M24 Chaffee (Tamiya Kit), 2nd Armored Division, Germany, April, 1945. This long awaited replacement for the M3/M5 series light tanks began to appear in December 1944. Still a light tank with only 1" armor, they were very fast and the light weight 75mm gun was a vast improvement of the pea shooter 37mm of its predecessors.

T26E4 Super Pershing (Hobbyboss kit), 3rd Armored, Germany, April 1945. 1 T26E1 was fitted with a more powerful T15E1 90mm gun of 73 calibers designed to outgun the Tiger II and its 88mm 72 caliber main gun. This gun was almost twice as long as the standard 90mm of the T26E1/M26. Recoil was beefed up with the two external cylinders and 3rd Armored Division field shops improvised additional armor as experience proved the Pershing was vulnerable to 88 rounds.
