Re-purposed Spitfire
Sept 1940-Sept 2019, perhaps?....
Had to spray and paint the 'diamond' on her port wing, as bizarrely Xtradecal shows one on the schematic - but they don't provide it
still some benefits in this old mold, despite raised lines,
new tool versus old
love the contrasting scheme, post Battle of Barking Creek
tried Uschii rigging wire...superb stuff!! at scale too
sleek and purposeful....if it looks good, it will fly well!
I prefer the nose on the old tooling to this new one

Resurrected my half-completed Airfix 1a'r....from 20 years ago.....[a "little something on the side" to test out some airbrushing practice and hope to breath a bit of life back into an old mold]....testing out skills before applying them to the Airfix Wellington, [a parallel project]
