Dean -Not being finished has a pretty huge impact though. Seriously. At least I don't have the pressure of a deadline now... Some proper elastic thread came in today, so now I can rewire the antenna!

BoxcutI've heard of some people making the radio wire out of melted sprue, knowing my skill i'd set my kitchen table on fire though.

Dean -I mentioned the stretched sprue method on the PnM thread actually. I skipped it because I found it tricky to control thickness. I suppose I could just keep a box full of stretched sprue lengths and pick them out as I need them...

Dean -Thanks, JW! I had someone pick two colors (they picked Green and Blue), then I plotted out the scheme in Photoshop.

Entry was a 1/72 Italeri Macchi MC.202
It features a custom paint job inspired by a play by post war-game/rpg-lite set in an alternate WW2 and featuring mercenaries.
The plane is fitted with a pair of turned brass (aluminum?) German MG 131s and pitot tube. In game/fluff terms, it was upgunned to 4 such guns, two being in the cowl.
A new antenna mast was fashioned using brass rod and decals were printed on an inkjet. I had some trouble with the decal paper...
Some drilling was done to open up holes in the fuselage and add the cartridge ejection port under the wing, which was missing.
The kit wasn't designed for wheels up, so some filling sanding, and scribing needed to be done.
