unusual looking plane especially the over sized and overly tall under carriage plus they seem to be of an unusual forward position too.

Beautyful plane, and you did a great job building and painting it! I have read, that the rather unpleasant name was caused by Adolfs great personal interest in the development of the plane ,because he wanted it to take the olympic flame nonstop from Athens to Berlin in 1936.

Thank You! The plane originally intended to transport the olympic flame from Garmisch-Patenkirchen to Tokyo for the olympic games in 1940. Hence the WWII the Tokyo olympic games failed the plane was tried to use as maritime reconnaisance plane with moderate success.

Yes, finished the ugly named bird. Today took some photos I hope You like it. I will make a "small" base for her (it's a relatively big 1:72 model) with some figures but the kit istself is done. 🙂
