Former SAR helo painted to reflect service at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, SC. We referred to them as PEDRO, these helos performed thousands of life saving mission to the coastal areas of the Carolinas for decades. Now retired and replaced by the MV-22. Paint was a gloss orange and gloss dark grey. Air Station denoted on sponsons. The large square angular box on the left side of the fuselage just aft of the cockpit is a 1400 Watt loudspeaker bank. Great helos, unmistakable whup whup whup sound. I miss them!
