The main parts of the kit cut, sanded, primed and highlighted.
The vehicle is small in real life and so it is pretty small in scale 1:72. 😉

Main parts colored and assembled.
![Album image #3 Album image #3](/albums/img/4/8/3/1619483-86785-12-720.jpg)
I chose an all aluminum steering wheel over a black one (both existed)

![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/8/3/9/1619839-86785-87-720.jpg)
Main work is done.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/8/4/0/1619840-86785-85-720.jpg)
I've been too quick to glue the 'hood' and forgot the fenders. So I had to divide the part that comprised both fenders and attach them separately. Quite a flimsy matter.

![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/8/4/2/1619842-86785-50-720.jpg)
![Album image #9 Album image #9](/albums/img/1/2/8/1621128-86785-80-720.jpg)
Rough idea for a little vignette.

![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/4/5/1/1621451-86785-60-720.jpg)
My first tests with the pattern roller for a strech of cobblestone street. Some tiles for the pavement. Material: DasPronto modelling clay.
![Album image #13 Album image #13](/albums/img/8/3/7/1622837-86785-43-720.jpg)
Ok. after adding all the bits and pieces I call this one done.
![Album image #14 Album image #14](/albums/img/8/3/4/1622834-86785-63-720.jpg)
Molecular modelling with part size down to 0,5 mm.
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/8/3/5/1622835-86785-90-720.jpg)
Only the rear view mirror and the id-plate is scratched. Everything else is part of the kit
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/8/3/6/1622836-86785-93-720.jpg)
A few minor flaws, but bottomline I am happy with the result. The representation of the drive train chain with a clear part gives a very convincing result. A bit of sanding of the tires assures solid ground contact.
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/8/3/8/1622838-86785-47-720.jpg)
Very very light weathering with a few pigments. Just to show that it is used but very well kept.
![Album image #18 Album image #18](/albums/img/8/3/9/1622839-86785-27-720.jpg)
For whatever reasons I like this vehicle. And Eduards kit is a gem.
![Album image #19 Album image #19](/albums/img/8/4/2/1622842-86785-47-720.jpg)
And one for an idea of its size. The exhaust mufflers have been drilled open with a 0.3 mm drill.

Next will be modelling for the clamfisted again: painting a 1:72 figure 😉
![Album image #21 Album image #21](/albums/img/7/7/2/1623772-86785-61-720.jpg)
I decided against all the figures in my first layout as they distract too much attention away from the vehicle.
This one remained to give a sense of scale.

Finished the figure in a nice modelling session with a friend. A bit shiny though. Will receive a coat of matt varnish. Then it should be done.
![Album image #23 Album image #23](/albums/img/2/3/2/1625232-86785-78-720.jpg)
Base is ready. Final shots will follow.

Calling this one done.
![Album image #26 Album image #26](/albums/img/4/0/3/1629403-86785-63-720.jpg)
As usual not perfect but bottomline I am quite happy with the result.

Welcome Alec. The clear parts are so incredibly tiny, they stretch my painting skills to the limit - and beyond I am afraid. 🙂

I'm normally not very intrested in vehicles, but your project looks very interesting. I'm in.

Great job, Michael - especially on all the wee lamps and pins.

Tolle Szene, der lässige Blick des Jungen mit den Puma-Sneakers und dem Smartphone auf den Oldtimer ..........
