OMG... this kit is made for the bin! Looks like a lot of sanding and filling 😫

I take it just to feel the contrast with four arma hobby with i have done last few weeks... It have very fine panel lines but the problem lies in low pressure thechnology- parts are thick, plastic is hard. It was full of imperfections on the surface like dots ( dust?) but when polished with sander it became clean and nice. A lot of parts are too thick and need filling, trimming to get into right position, but overall form is good.
I must check with referense since i suspect engine cowligs are too thin when you look from above. What i mean i must raise diameter of engine cowlings by adding some spacers.
Biggest problems was those separate air intakes in front cowling. If i oput engine plate it was no place to filling and shaping those two " bars" separating front intake in three channels.
I just cut a whole fron out and will do it as separate component and then put it back. Funny thing it was not possible to close fuselage with engine plate on front , but after cutting when i grinded some material inside of cowling it was a perfect fit. Anyway i will make fron wider, it looks strange now.. Jus must find some photos and drawings...
Still its a fun but lot of hammering...and grinding..
One more thing- wing profile close to fuselage is too thick, especially rear edge of the wing. Wing parts need to be grinded from inside to make profile thinner... Same thing for real stabilizer, its thick like a tree... Otherwise horizontal stabilizers need emnd cutting, decals are for third prototype with hade more square stabilizers, not a rounded ones- but this is an easy thing...
Where Arma kits went together painlessly this one is a real fight... Im not complaining its limited run low pressure kit...

Okay, thats a lot of work. Thanks for all the explainings. But i know what you mean: after some great kits i also «like» to make a challenging kit. Hey, that's part of the hobby, in my opinion. Nothing can beat that feeling when you have finished a heavy to handle kit.

Exactly.. something more demanding sometimes .... but today after some hours of cutting and gringing my energy is depleted...
