Then watched for more info and guess what???...tomorrow hope to but at least two more. The price: Guatemala, Q60.00, just US$7.50 each!!!

Hi Holger!!!!
Yes my friend! Mine was nearly the opposite as the sweet guys from "Scale, Plastic & Rail"
They moved me to go for another two tonight, and two Stearmans and one Boeing P 26....🙂

Here, we have a Motto: "There are no bad models, just some bad modellers"
BTW I'd like to take a look of your Revell Old B17F, I have one in resurrection here.....🙂

Holger, mine was allright too. But watch out for the landing gear: it's tricky to get it properly lined out.

Mine came from a friend's dump models for canibalizing as I was in need for some three blade propellers for another project, it came with missing parts and the clear parts were never put on she. My son encouraging me to "rescue" this old and the task began cleaning it . Then, I have disasembled it, made nearly all the fuselage clear windows, then opened some intake and outlets, also have bought some Squadron Clear parts for the windshield and other things, and made some bits replacing the missing parts, am adding some detail for the landing gear watching some real machine pics and Eduard photo etched parts instructions, and now, am gathering some more little pieces from others for she. I was looking for one new but it was nearly impossible here. AAAAAhhhh, i forgot, I wrote to Revell Germany for instructive and they sent me photocopies as they haven't had it in PDF and sent me the decals.....its a really big effort. 🙂 and was thinking to take some pics to share...😢

Hey Holger: I'm so sorry yours was destroyed "In Action", Maybe you will get another one if you can find it and try your hand. As the new mould would be selling so well, maybe there will be many people trying to get rid of this one. 🙂

I forgot to mention that the figurine of the pilot has the size of an infant. Better leave it out or replace it with an adult one 😉 In that case you will have to position the chair a bit lower. Those Macchi cockpits were really crammed.
