Thanks Markus. I was trying to keep the balance and not overdo with weathering wben doing this project though there are many pictures of Corsairs from those days showing that they were sometimes pretty filthy and worned out. I must say I was tempted to add more dirt, sand and chipping more in some areas. IMHO the one I did would be sitting on the beach no more than 10 months... 😉

Amazing NMF and added camo. Perfect weathering also (in my opinion). Definitely a used machine but not so much it obscures the beautiful paintwork.

Thank you very much for your comment guys, much appreciated. It was not really easy project at all having finished the excellent Tamiya's Corsair kit before but after all I am pretty happy with tha final outcome.

@Pietro, Mr James - many thanks for your comments and positive feedback.
@ Milos - this is a typical short-run kit. The fitting is so, so but nothing serious you couldn;t fix. In some areas the putty is what you will need - wing leading edges, particularly. I would say one step below Special Hobby old kits though a lot of resin parts add a lot.
