BMW 318is Street

Tried to create a street version with sort of an m-technic front bumper and nice wheels. I also replaced the mirrors with m-style from scaleproduction.

What I like about the project:
- classic from the 90s, a friend of mine still owns a clean e36 318is coupe
- i like how the wheels look
- i liked the pre-cut interior carpets (although I had to tint them with dark gray since they were beige)
- i mastered the exhaust tips in this one
- after all the problems with it still looks good on the shelf from far 🙂

What I dont like about the project:
- the kit itself is not very detailed with rather thin plastic (especially the interior)
- steering wheel centering is awkward
- major fail with the color of the body. The color I wanted (and tried before) was not that dark. was too lazy to change.
- rebuilding the front bumper was not an easy task and gave me all sorts of troubles
- I had no idea on how to apply metal decals on curved surfaces (i knew I would apply metal stickers from the beginning, so should have sanded the area better)
- when doing the front bumper I should have chosen a thinner shim and should have used putty instead of 2k modelling clay. I was too lazy to redo it properly.
