I have been completely remiss in documenting this project. Engine is coming together. I'm going to go with a simple black interior. Not sure what direction I'm going here other than to have a Chevelle on the shelf. Nice kit with some nice decals. Cylinder heads are the let down so far. No reliefs for plug wires and basically no molded details. Just a couple lumps of plastic. Oh well, they are mostly covered.

Some nice gauge decals to help set the dashboard off. Interior finished and firewall installed. Making progress.

Last update for now. Tub installed to chassis. Got the engine installed and the front suspension and exhaust on the chassis too. Lovely kit. Decided I didn't care about ignition wiring on this one. Just a shelf Queen and the hood will doubtless forever stay closed.

Blue. The color is blue. Decision were made. Paints were looked at and it's blue. Unless I mucked up the paint job and have to strip it. Lol. Photos soon if it's worth anything.

Everything is finished underneath. Did a little dry brushing to bring out details. Topside, the engine bay is also mostly complete. Ready for some wheels and tires and a body and we'll be there.

This one is complete. Quick and simple build. I didn't want to spend a lot of extra time on it. Just love the 68 and 69 Chevelles and wanted one on my shelf. Great modern kit from revell. A nice, stress free build that's perfect to do in the background of more serious projects. I wanted to go with a sort of weekend warrior feel so I added some wide Radial GTs out back with some classic Centerline style rear wheels. Then stuck with the skinnier red lines up front. Fun build
