I added yet more weight to the front gear well, and now the model just about sits on its tricycle gear, but really just about. The antenna wire is UNI Caenis.

This is how far I have come with my Ark Royal collection. I am storing the models in their transport box, and they are supported by foam blocks. None of them are resting on their actual landing gear - that wouldn´t be a problem with the Phantom and Buccaneer, but the two Gannets are so heavy that I wouldn´t trust the plastic gear legs in the long run.
