I made new propellers from spare Mustang airscrews and I'm quite ok with them. I later found out there's a complete resin set, too. But I ordered the correct decals on the internet for now and maybe that's it then.

After the necessary filling and sanding, the lady is in black now.....and waiting probably for some time until the markings arrive.

Completed with 4-blade-props and correct markings. At least a humble try to resemble a He-219 V5 prototype. The fuselage is not correct, it lacks the rear step on the underside. But all in all I'm ok with that conversion of an old kit which was already destined for the bin.....😉

Flame dampers were part of the engine nacelles, so I left them in place, maybe they were fitted later anyway....
At the rollout the exhausts were open.

Album info
As I've replaced my old 80s kit of Revell by Dragon's nearly as old but much nicer kit of 1992 (see my recently completed project), I decided not to throw away the old one, but turn it into a prototype version with 4-blade-props and in black. So now work is in progress....waiting for the right decals (on order / OWL Productions from CZ).
