I like those colorful birds, especially the red-white ones. Well done!

Thank you! The neutrality makings sure look nice (even though they're a pain to mask), I'll probably make another one, maybe another G-6 or an E-3, maybe another P-51D or the Air14 F/A-18C... But for now I have a Mirage IIIRS to build!

The Kinetic one? I have two of them sitting on my shelf of doom. One day, I hopefully finish them …

Yep, my father also had 2 of them on his shelf, he was reasonable enough to admit he'd never do both...

I have planned to do the Black and White ones(2110/2117), so in my case: both or none 🙂

Yes, besides, I wouldn't be able to choose between the 2, they both look fantastic! But I love the late camo better though...

Nice one - which kit is it?
Don't want to be a party crasher but J-711 had the later Erla cockpit (at least on the foto I have).

You are absolutely correct! I initially wanted to do J-705 (which hadn't an Erla cockpit) when I started the build more than 4 years ago, unfortunately, I lost the decal sheet during the long pause I made, so I made J-711 (which looks better IMO) but the front and back portions of the cockpit were already glued in place, moreover the Erla canopy from the kit had been slightly damaged, so I just decided to keep this one. I like it better...and I didn't think anybody would notice so hats off to you!

Also to be precise, it is possible that J-711 had the FlKp. 7's logo on the left side of the fuselage, but due to the lack of photo evidence, I decided not to put it unless another photo comes up.

And for the kit, it is Eduard's Bf 109G-6 ProfiPACK edition (No. 8268). At the time, the J-705 special edition (No. BFC044) didn't exist, that's part of the reason I changed plans in the middle: I might do this one too someday!

pity the Erla was damaged - J-705 with the replacement rudder shows a very attractive camo 👍
