Second model completed after a 35 year hiatus. I used several new mediums I've never used before and also made a lot of mistakes on this one. Used a Def Models detail up set which was the first time ever using PE. Learned how the carpet monster loves PE. I had to recreate the sight for the mg on the front hull plate since I broke the kit piece and lost the PE. Hope you all like it. I don't mind constructive criticism, but please offer solutions as well. Thanks.

One must be very careful if holding photo etch pieces with a tweezer. I think, it is best to use a small crisp "scissor" like tweezer, instead of some tyipcal tweezer to reduce the change of a small PE part launching off into nothingness.

There is also a tool, with a silicon tip one can use to pick up photo etch parts from the table, but I prefer to just moisten the finger tip with some spit.

Album info

Well I've been working on this project now for several weeks and learning how easy it is to loose PE and how much I don't know on working with it. I've lost several PE pieces, had to scratch build some items, pick axe handle and front sight on the front of the hall. I ordered the Eduard PE set, however I did not use it all. Just to daunting for my skill level. I tried to use DN model stencils and learned from a good friend what I did wrong spraying the markings. I've lost some interest in this build but pushing through.
