nice details, but maybe a bit too deep....
![Album image #4 Album image #4](/albums/img/6/2/2/520622-21096-28-720.jpg)
but will be nice for a final wash, for sure.
![Album image #5 Album image #5](/albums/img/6/2/3/1222623-21096-67-720.jpg)
the antenna is going to break, almost for sure, so i decided to make a replacement. a piece of strong wire in the Dremel.
![Album image #6 Album image #6](/albums/img/6/2/0/1222620-21096-98-720.jpg)
And after a bit of sanding, you start getting the antenna
![Album image #7 Album image #7](/albums/img/6/1/9/1222619-21096-51-720.jpg)
ok, it is still too big.
![Album image #8 Album image #8](/albums/img/6/2/2/1222622-21096-30-720.jpg)
two spits, two antennas.
like with the zeros I removed the primer later. i should have not painted it until it is off the sprue, and closed down.

PE. interesting practice. i need to re-attach the pedal that broke.
![Album image #10 Album image #10](/albums/img/0/4/2/1223042-21096-44-720.jpg)
Cockpit interior sides painted. One of them needs to be done again. as expected, one of the antennas, broke. Good that the replacement is ready 🙂

i made a mistake, so i needed to get another couple... and since i was at it, added the PE and the engine details for one of them...
![Album image #12 Album image #12](/albums/img/1/9/0/1404190-21096-44-720.jpg)
instrument panel will be added tomorrow.

dry fitting pilot chair. some details still missing (belts etc)

size check, it seems correct, but i may need to add some extra detail. the end looks a bit empty....
![Album image #15 Album image #15](/albums/img/5/4/0/1409540-21096-96-720.jpg)
Almost ready to be closed down forever.
![Album image #16 Album image #16](/albums/img/8/3/1/1426831-21096-90-720.jpg)
Managed to close one before going on holidays. Details are still visible. This one will have open cockpit
![Album image #17 Album image #17](/albums/img/6/1/4/1439614-21096-53-720.jpg)
Second one closed, this will be part of a small diorama
I need to add some scratched details to the engine

It browsed the album and liked it. And then I read the comments,..and 144? wait.... 👀
....fact. Wow. now I like it even more - ggod job.

And I tought I was the one working detailed in a tiny scale. This outmatches me, Spanjaard. Keep us amazed 🙂

Wow, that is a great compliment, thanks lode!
Far from your level (I know what you do in even smaller scales 😉 ), but I will keep doing my best 🙂

I thought the EU had banned micro-plastics?
All joking aside, great! 👍

WHAT?!?!? Seatbelts and pedals in 1/144!!!!!!!!
That really is showing off. 😉

Great work in micro scale ! Belts in 144 ? - not even thought about it. 👍

Thanks Mirko! Let's see if it doesn't burn in flames, ll is possible yet 🙂

Thanks Alexander, a good deal of the merits must go to Brengun PE set. Takes some patience to get it assembled, that is fir sure. I am using those sets in several other builds, I really like them. Although sometimes not much can be seen after the build is finished

thanks Tyson, Villiers and Lode. actually i made a mistake on that PE, horizontal lines should be above the exhausts, not under them. but if i try to correct it now, i will probably ruin those PE, so, it will have to stay like this 🙁

![](/profiles/img/69549-161-s.jpg)
If you have used CA glue to glue the PE parts together, the glued parts can be peeled off with a CA debonder without damage.
3 April 2023, 08:57
![](/profiles/img/21096-573-s.jpg)
interesting idea, never used that product. i am concerned that if the CA dissolves, it may end up piling up somwhere else, for example. what is your experience with it? does it affect plastic or resin? i could have probably found one when i was in Lingen a week ago....
3 April 2023, 09:21
![](/profiles/img/69549-161-s.jpg)
After peeling off the PE part, I wipe off the melted glue with a soft cloth, slightly dampened with debonder if necessary. Finally, I wash the stripped parts with water and a little detergent and dry them.
As for the debonder itself, I don't know if there are any major differences in its composition (from different manufacturers). The debonder I use does not damage the plastic or resin.
However, you can always test the debonder on a piece of plastic or resin first before using it on your model.

![](/profiles/img/46074-690-s.jpg)
Debonder usually doesn't effect the plastic but it will get rid of any paint and of course CA glue.
3 April 2023, 16:14
![](/profiles/img/21096-573-s.jpg)
paint is certainly not a problem at this stage, as long as make sure no debonder gets into the cockpit 😛. i will probably leave the engine as it is for now, and see if i can get a dobonder and do some testing....
3 April 2023, 17:59
![](/profiles/img/21096-573-s.jpg)
i almost order a dobonder to remove the engine but the chance of ruining the job so far, and the fact that I am uncertain if I can get a new engine detail kit make me think about it twice.... And then I realized that in the actual engine, there is are two metal pieces above and below the exhausts. the detail kit has only one (that i incorrectly placed under the exhausts). So I chose to add a stripe of 0,4mm metal, to make looks more like it should, and avoid the risks of disassembling the whole thing
of course, the debonder would have allowed me to paint the engine in black, and the mounts in green, but hopefully i should be able to paint all black, and then the mount in green

That's simply unbelievable... (or you keep a trained spider, Spanjaard? 😉 )

![](/profiles/img/26441-134-s.jpg)
I'm not quite sure what's better, the build or the comments! 😉
Great work as always, and an inspiration to those of us who love 1/144. It needs a small dc motor hidden inside that engine. 😉

![](/profiles/img/48665-446-s.jpg)
Wow, that's an absolutely crazy amount of detail there! And executed so clean - truly amazing, impressed!! 👍🏻

![](/profiles/img/65234-189-s.jpg)
Spanjaard, you keep us amazing with this tiny build. I've already seen very nice 1/144 planes, but you're about to beat that level.
19 April 2023, 05:54
![](/profiles/img/21096-573-s.jpg)
thanks for all the kind comments Robert, Greg, Slavo and Lode. really motivating to continue 🙂
@Robert, no, spiders on this one, i wanted to get some of the ones of Bughunter, when rigging the 1/144 Gladiator, but they are too happy working with him, so i have to do it alone.
@Greg, I played with the idea of using those tiny DC motors you use, and i may add them in some other build, but simply impossible (for me at least) in this one in particular. besides, mechanics repairing the open engine in the diorama i want to do, may not enjoy having it running while they work 😉

Okay, this is insane. For a minute I thought wow, not bad in 1/72 scale until I saw that it's 1/144! Looking forward to this one.

thanks Stephan, it is on hold for a while, until Nissan Skyline is finished, but i will go back to this one. it is actually kind of part of a much bigger project, and i really want to finish it 🙂

![](/profiles/img/41967-490-s.jpg)
This is insane 😲
Great details, I'd be happy to get my 72nd kits to look this good, let alone 144th scale.
Will follow this 👀

Spanjaard, I know how difficult it is to capture such tiny details on a photo and to show how tiny it is really. The comments are more than deserved.

Album info
Another couple part of my "flying circus" in-flight project, the second one will be static on the ground.
nice quality, but not as good as Platz ones. brengun PE will certainly make this pop up if i can pull it off
