You'd almost think this is a big tank 🙂

Good Day, Mark Just like the look of this T30/34. Interesting subject and will be following along with the build. A chap from our scale model club (SMAS) is hopefully picking up one of these kits for me in Hong Kong this week, so am interested in how you finish this one off. Catch Ya, Logan

Thanks for your comment Logan, I have put aside this model since I last posted here, since I had to finish my other build (the FT-17) but I'm hoping to continue this model this cumming week and its not going to be something as usual.

A good build of a good kit. Only the paint sheme (By Mig) are disapointing.

HAHAHAHA !!! 🙂 well I only used one figure out of that set. But after all it was a German who took up the Americans to the moon 🙂

That's if you believe they went to the moon, which I don't. Nasa officials said they can't go to the moon yet, we don't have the technology , not my words theirs. Beautifully done dio by the way, well done.👍👍👍

Michael, thanks for your comment, anyway to the moon or not, they went into space for sure and it was always thanks to a German. 🙂

I agree with you 100% it was German technology that gave them the edge.

Really like this, especially all the scratch building. The surface textures and finishing on the tank itself are great.

Amazing work. The welding cart and bottles/hose/torch alone are a work of art.

I used to have an oxyacetylene torch and cart like that and it looks exactly like the real thing!

Album info

This has always been a tank I wanted to build, this Takom kit is awesome, everything fits in place and built in no time, detail is great, just had to do some minor modifications.

This DIO depicts the T-34 American heavy being built as a prototype using a T-30 hull and turret being developed. The turret was mainly made of cast steel and steel plates were welded to it to close the gaps and places where hatches needed to be placed
