Hallo Mike!

@Es-hq an H K - Thx a lot for the nice comments. It's a pity that the pics are not so good. Many of the variations in the color are a little bit invisible.
@Christian - jep - keine schlecht Idee. Aber da ist momentan etwas anderes angedacht... 😉

Pretty well done Mike. Is it the same kit vom Academy as the other Hetzer?

Mike Kryza
@Christian - Lass Dich mal überraschen - 😉
@Acki - thx. No it's not the same. This kit includes the parts for the early version. There are some signified differences like the exhaust.
I have forgotten - I used the gunbarrel from DEF.

Mike, I don't know how I missed this one but that's a really good looking Hetzer! I love the suppressed weathering and the tonal variations in the paint job! This is pretty much what I would personally call perfect balance 👍

If you are going to do more weathering I really hope you stick with some dusting / maybe a tiny bit of mud here and there but not much more. It's already beautiful as it is 👍 🙂

Nice weathering. Mike
Rust on exhaust is perfect.

a very homely tank this one, even the top looks like a roof, all it needs now is a chimney and a couple of bay windows with matching curtains 😄

Btw - like John said it's not easy to find always the right balance. The weathering and so on comes actual to a halt. Me and my friend would realize an idea (Secret 🙂) and in this case pigments and other mediums will be used. But not too much...
@Holger, Frank, Jonns und Christian - Thx for the protest!!!

True true lol but for some one who doesnt have that high of a skill level at scratch and re-building such as me, it can become such a headache lol

Mike Kryza
Don't know what's my skill 🙂 (Modeling is fun for me!!) - but believe me if there is tooooooo much work in a kit it's possible this kit will fly in the waste bin!

Album info

I build the kit (Academy) during the SCM-Meeting at Wangerooge this year. Nearly finished I got enormous problems with the paint. During the last days I have restored the tank.
A little bit more weathering is probably upcoming - but not yet.
