BIG mistake in the instructions (step 2) regarding the wheel assembly

Album image #4
?? Look at TG 3. A harmless mistake on Dragon's part, (N9)a harmless mistake on my part. Even on Step 17

Someone once said chipping German wheels would be tedious, how about pin washing zimmerit?

Album image #16
Maybe I could have "mapped out" the aft deck, but there isn't allot of room to play around.....not with that turret overhang

Album image #17
after seeing Steve Zaloga's magnificent JS-2, I had to get Photoshop......

Album image #18

If I can get my tiger to anything like this one, I'd be a happy man....I like it a lot!

thanks wim! You've got one of these on your bench?
Dragon instructions were FULL of errors beginning with Step 2.
Most of the errors were benign, but there were a couple of serious mistakes as I recall.

Hey James that Tiger came out really nice outstanding job i see you over came the issue of the spare tracks on the turret what other issues did you have so can take notes for my kit. I only hope it will turn as nice as yours 👍

Let me know when that King Tiger is on your bench William, I've produced a build log for it (might be an interesting feature for the managers to add!) and found several deficiencies in the instructions, big surprise.
The spare tracks were easy.
The outward corners on the upper sets line up nicely with the turret edge. The lower sets of tracks locate easily off of the upper set.
If you wanted to mount the hooks but no tracks, assemble the tracks as if you were going to mount them and simply use a fine pen or whatever to mark the hook placement location by inserting the pen where the hooks go on the track sets and mark the turret.

well, I haven't actually bought mine yet, it's in my cart at Scale Hobbyist at $44.89........scalehobbyist.com/ca..;kw=vallejo,acrylics
As for the T34, one of the reasons I'm doing it is because I'm finally getting a feel for soldering and it looks like there will be some in this kit:scalehobbyist.com/ca..mp;sc=35&man=DML
