Hi Frank, maybe you should look for a subcontractor to get the tracks reworked. 😉

Tracks are assembled. Continued with some photo-etched parts, but... the smallest ones are fractions of a millimeter. Check out the last photo.

These tiny PE parts are a big challenge. But it is half of a pleasure, at least for me 🙂
Excellent work, Frank!

I got sick of trying to find lost parts. Now, I put a white sheet at my feet. I've found PE as small as bolts and such. Increases the odds of finding stuff dramatically. These half tracks look pretty cool. I'd be interested if anyone could repost that video of that Oriental guy who did a half track and scratch built the engine. I want to check out again how he threw those magic tracks together.

@James: Good idea! In my case it must be a big piece of white paper, because I always manage it that the parts don't just drop down, but fly everywhere, where I don't expect it.
I remember that video, but can't find it.

the advantage of the sheet is that the parts don't bounce at all......and they're easy to see............the way that guy through those tracks together was pretty cool as I recall.....and I've got a Dragon Mk IV about to hit the bench with those tracks.
Cool half track you got going on there...I built the well know Tamiya one years ago and a drunk woman collapsed into it and smashed it to pieces..maybe I'll build another and name it after her??
Following this build, love the gray.....

yeah Holger, I was checking that out wondering how it was done. See, these are the little things that Frank picks out that I miss........that's why I'm here, to learn!

Me too! I had the pleasure to look over his shoulder whilst painting it. He has absolute steady hands, magnifying glasses and unbelievable fine brushes!
I loved watching him paint, I could watching him painting for hours!😢
